Every family has a unique story to tell, and the PC Genealogy Club is here to help you uncover yours. Our club is dedicated to guiding members in exploring their family history, fostering a collaborative environment where we learn together and share discoveries. Through engaging discussions, we expand our knowledge of research methods and techniques, while deepening our understanding of the rich tapestry of our ancestors' lives. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced researcher, all PebbleCreek residents are invited to join us. At our monthly meetings, field trips to top local libraries, and sessions with expert guest speakers, you'll have the chance to grow your skills and connect with others on the same exciting journey.

 Club meetings are held on the second Monday of each month, from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the Palm Room in the Eagles Nest Clubhouse. All PebbleCreek residents are welcome to attend their first two monthly meetings as a guest, free of charge. Please join us.

"Color-Coding your AncestryDNA Matches" with Sheila Griffin. 

Shiela is the Secretary of the Genealogy Club at Trilogy Vistancia. She will walk us through simple ways of color-coding our AncestryDNA matches by surname to help filter and organize DNA matches.

“Moving South: Canadian Migration to the United States” with Dave Gaboury.

 During a 50 year period around the end of the 19th century, nearly a million Canadians moved to the United States. If you have Canadian ancestors, chances are they were part of this mass migration. We’ll take a look at where they came from, where they went, their reasons for moving south, and how you can trace them in your family tree.

"French Settlement in Canada in the 1600’s" with Chris Pelikan. Chris will talk about Samuel de Champlain’s exploration, settlements, the rise “Mercantilism”, population growth, his ancestors role in this early Canadian history and briefly discuss French migration south in 1700’s.
